Oh my god. I was totally going to guess challah. I really was. But then I thought challah had to have that glossy sheen on top and yours looked so matte. So I changed my mind. I should have stuck to my guns!! Curses, foiled again. It does look great though, I love challah.
haha. I ran out of eggs, so no glossy sheen. Turns out brushing bread with a beaten egg is what causes them to be shiny. Instead, I brushed them with milk and they were a little browner than expected.
